Maybe we like to think outside of our little box. Perhaps the idea of something supernatural is beyond our belief of reality. Maybe we like it so much because of how we get to include our image into something that's as scary and exciting as an occult. The idea of an occult is so real and unimaginable to say one thing because it can have many meanings to one story, especially if its supernatural we would have no clue if it happened in reality. We are fascinated by it because it can leave us hanging with one clue and we can make man different perspectives to how it could've ended. We see the idea of an occult in movies, books, television shows, art, and even on peoples choice of clothing, in their music, it has taken our lives and created a new history for its name, it has recreated everything we knew about the fictional, supernatural world. It has captivated our culture and is still hasn't seized to stop exciting us or our view of it. It is such a hit in our lives that we are creating movies like Paranormal Activity and, art like werewolves on t-shirts or tattoos, some people prefer shows like Supernatural, or The Vampire Diaries. it has taken over and we focus more on the occult than other genres.. To me the occult was only created to make us guess everything we thought was true and to make us guessing and stay clueless. we made it popular with our own fascinations. Maybe it was the idea of being clueless or a never ending pack of unanswered questions, that made our generation lie the fascination of the occult taking over.

Joker vs. Crane
In theory we the Joker is an anti-hero and Mr.Crane is the good upstanding guy. Why does the joker have to be the fault. He is doing what he wants and what he believes is right. Isn't that what a person is supposed to do? Aren't they supposed to stand up for what they believe in? Mr. Crane is the typical military officer who follows and obeys the law. He does what hes supposed to do, but his life is just a law and not his own. The joker is a person who is willing to do what he wants and doesn't give a HOOT about everyone else's opinion. So if being yourself make you an anti-hero then why would anyone want to be a good righteous person like Mr.Crane whose life is probably lonely and unfulfilled. Today everyone is afraid to be themselves. No one should hide who they are. The joker and Mr.Crane are completely different, but if the joker is an anti-hero then what makes him an anti-hero? Is it being unstable? Is it belief? Having your own personality? Being your own you? Not caring about what others think of you? Who created you and set boundaries around who you can be?who said not to do what you want? If the joker is an anti-hero for being himself and Mr.Crane is anything but a Law man. Then which would you be, the Hero or the Anti-hero.
